A little bit about me…

I bring a rich body of knowledge from years of studying and practice with dance, somatic work, massage, the BodyTalk System, cross-cultural practices, and Craniosacral Therapy. Dancing has always been part of my life in some form. In Seattle, I was an esteemed, professional performer, dancer, and choreographer for 25 years. The time I’ve spent in creative process, collaboration, and performing have enriched my life greatly.

Originally from Downriver Detroit, I grew up in a very large family. My husband, cat, relationships, things working well, the well-being of others, Mother Earth, and the future are some things I really care about. Art, movement, music, humor, weird things, outdoor activities, and dawdling in nature keep me interested. I’m an imperfect person, living an imperfect life, but I’m grateful and honor it.

With curiosity, I’m here to support your unique process.  I will hold space for you to experience a deeper connection with yourself and be more comfortable in your body.

I offer you my gifts of presence, compassion, intuition, my love of creative process, and knowledge of the human body.  Twenty-five years of combined experience in dance, creative process, and somatic inquiry inform my practice, as does my awareness of energy and Spirit. 

Over the years, I’ve had to dialogue with my own pain and injuries and create containers for transformation. This was a catalyst that put my interest in the healing arts in motion. My own growth and work as a facilitator/practitioner are to nurture presence, connection, and relationship.  My intention is to be of service to others and the earth.
